What PaidTok is
PaidTok is a fee bridge on Solana.
A deployer launches a token on a supported venue. They set the creator-fee recipient to the PaidTok treasury. They name a TikTok handle in the token description. PaidTok claims the fees on a schedule and reserves 80% of each claim for that handle.
The creator proves they own the TikTok account, pastes a wallet they control, and withdraws.
Treasury address: PAiDToKTreasury11111111111111111111111111111 (placeholder until mainnet deployment)
What it is not
- Not a TikTok product. Not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance.
- Not a pump.fun product. PaidTok reads pump.fun's fee mechanism; it does not change it.
- Not a launchpad. PaidTok does not create tokens. It receives fees from tokens others create.
- Not a custodian for the long term. Fees are held per handle only until claim, timeout, opt-out, or burn.
- Not a guarantee of income. Fees depend on trading volume. Volume may be zero.
- Not an endorsement. Listing a token means its fees route here. It does not mean the creator approved it.
Flow
- Launch. Deployer creates a token. Fee recipient = PaidTok treasury. Description contains
Fees to @handle via PaidTok. - Index. PaidTok detects the mint, parses the handle, and lists the token. Tokens without a parseable handle are not listed.
- Claim. On a schedule, PaidTok claims accrued creator fees for every listed mint. Each claim is a round with a signature.
- Split. Per round: 80% is credited to the handle's escrow. 20% is used to buy $PAIDTOK and burn it, after execution costs.
- Verify. The creator signs in with TikTok. PaidTok matches the username to the listing.
- Withdraw. The creator pastes a Solana address. Escrow is sent. Future rounds send directly to that address.
Claims are scheduled, not per trade. The schedule is published on the analytics page once live.
80 / 20
| Share | Destination | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 80% | Named creator | Credited to per-handle escrow at claim time. Never reduced by execution costs. |
| 20% | $PAIDTOK buy + burn | Swap fees and priority fees are paid from this 20% first. The remainder buys $PAIDTOK on the open market. Bought tokens are burned. |
The split is applied per claim round. It is not applied per trade and not applied to unclaimed fees still sitting in the venue.
How a creator claims
1. Prove the TikTok account
Sign in with TikTok. PaidTok reads the username and nothing else it does not need. PaidTok does not post, follow, or message.
If TikTok sign-in is unavailable, a fallback is a time-boxed code placed in the TikTok bio. PaidTok checks the bio and then discards the code.
2. Paste a wallet you control
Any Solana address. PaidTok does not generate wallets and does not hold keys. If you do not have a wallet, install one first. PaidTok will not create a custodial wallet for someone who never showed up.
3. Withdraw
The escrow balance is sent to your address. From then on, each claim round sends your 80% directly. You can change the address later after re-verifying.
Unclaimed balances
Fees reserved for a handle that has not claimed stay in escrow. They leave escrow only by one of: creator claim, opt-out, the published timeout, or the buy-and-burn rule that applies after timeout. The timeout and rule are published on this page before they take effect.
Opt-out
A creator can verify their TikTok account and opt out. After opt-out: tokens naming that handle are hidden from listings, no new fees are reserved for the handle, and existing escrow follows the published burn/escrow rule.
PaidTok cannot stop someone from launching a pump.fun token that mentions a handle. PaidTok will not list it or reserve fees for it after opt-out.
$PAIDTOK
$PAIDTOK is the asset the 20% is spent on. That is its only role in the protocol.
- It is not governance.
- It does not discount fees.
- It does not gate launches.
- Holding it does not entitle you to any creator payout.
Venues
| Venue | Status | Mechanism |
|---|---|---|
| pump.fun | Live | Creator fee recipient set to the PaidTok treasury at launch. Fees claimed via the venue's claim instruction. |
| Raydium LaunchLab | Soon | Pending review of fee-recipient semantics. |
| Meteora | Soon | Pending. |
Venue rules can change without notice. PaidTok tracks them and updates this table.
Risks
- Volume risk. Fees come from trading. No trading, no fees.
- Venue risk. A venue may change or remove creator fees. PaidTok cannot prevent that.
- Smart-contract risk. Treasury and escrow code can have bugs. Audits, when done, are linked here.
- Impersonation risk. Anyone can name any handle. Listing is not endorsement. Report fraud to admin@paidtok.app.
- Price risk. Balances are shown in USD at event time. SOL and $PAIDTOK prices move.
- Regulatory risk. Rules differ by jurisdiction. You are responsible for yours.
